After having been born in the United States, she spent her childhood years growing up in London, England. The family moved to Miami, Florida when she was 14 years old.

Samantha Robinson brought to life the leading role of Elaine Parks, a beautiful young witch seeking a new life after the death of her husband Jerry, in the 2016 comedy-horror tragedy film, The Love Witch, and this role got her nominated for the 2017 Fangoria Chainsaw Award in the “Best Actress” category.

For her performance in The Love Witch, she was named as one of the best actresses of 2016 by The New Yorker.

In 2019, Samantha was cast as Abigail Folger, heir to the Folgers coffee fortune, in the 2019 comedy-drama film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, directed by Quentin Tarantino.
